‘Aoi’ is an outstanding slender form of Japanese white pine. One of the classics for sure , there are many stately examples of this older cultivar in landscapes around the world. Although blue stands out as the prominent color on this tree, hints of silver and green shine and cute little brown cones scatter about the branches. Larger specimens of ‘Aoi’ make wonderful architectural landscape pieces.
